CMCTH has been providing free beds (10%) to very poor, helpless and needy people who cannot afford treatment at the hospital.



Un-affording patients that visit the hospital are scrutinized according to the standard operating procedures of CMC and subsequent to recommendation from the head of the Department of the concerned department, are provided free or subsidy on treatment via this unit, which is supported generously by the institution, faculties and the working staffs. Annually, more than NRs. 2 crore is spent on helping such patients at this institution.



This Ashram is located at Devghat, Chitwan. All the residents of this Ashram can avail of free medical services from doctors of CMCTH who visit the Ashram on a regular basis.



This Ashram is located in Bharatpur, Chitwan. Destitutes on the streets are brought to Manav Sewa Ashram and provided with accommodation, fooding, clothing and personal care. All the residents of this Ashram are provided free hospital treatment, free medication and free admission at CMCTH.



CMC conducts about 8 to 10 health camps per year in remote peripheries, in coordination with the local authorities of the concerned periphery. A team of about 30 staffs which includes about 20 doctors take part in the health camp. The services are provided by specialists with assistance of residents/Medical officers/ Dental Surgeons/paramedics in all specialties. Diagnostic facilities like simple lab investigations, ECG, ECHO and USG facilities are provided. Minor procedures and dental extractions are also carried out and the relevant medications are provided free of cost. The patients screened in these camps that need referral are provided treatment at CMC with a minimum of 20% to a maximum of 100% discount.



CMC believes in preventive medicine, imparted particularly on the young minds. School Health programs are held regularly at various schools in coordination with the school management. We create awareness about various common health issues with a special focus on behavior change.



Staffs from the SODS (School of Dental Sciences) including the dental students regularly visit various communities and provide knowledge and awareness on dental hygiene and also conduct dental screening.
