Masters of Public Health (MPH) program offered by CMC is a2 yearscourse, which proposes a professional public health specialist.
An individual with masters of public health degree will have opportunities for working in specific setting of health system (public, private, nonprofit), academic institutions, hospitals, industries, training and research institutions and for profit organizations as a public health expert, specialist or managers at national and international level.

Eligibility for admission:
Those who are interested in admission to the master of Public Health (MPH) programme should have fulfilled the following requirements:
Academic qualification in Bachelor in Health Science in any of the following subjects: Public Health, Public Health Nutrition, Nutrition and Health, Pharmacy, Medical Biochemistry, Medical laboratory, Health Promotion and Education, Optometry Education, Epidemiology, Radiography, Environmental health, Occupational Health, Post graduate diploma in health Promotion and Education, Nursing, Speech, Audiology language, Medicine and Surgery, Physiotherapy, Pathology, Dentistry and Veterinary Science.
Applicant with above degrees must be registered in a relevant professional council related to their bachelor degree.
One year work experience in health sector after bachelor degree in above-mentioned subjects.
Candidates should pass the entrance examination of Institute of Medicine.
Candidate Selection Process:
Eligible candidates should appear for the entrance exam conducted by IOM, Exam section and the merit list will be published based on the marks secured in the entrance examination. The candidate selection and admission will then be donefollowing the guidelines set by IOM (on merit basis and post-counseling sessions held by IOM).

After fulfilling the aforementioned criteria, students have to visit CMC College along with the guardians and have to present the original copies of all the academic certificates. Thereafter, students have to fill up necessary documents and agreement papers as per the rules and requirements of CMC
Successful candidates will have to undergo medical test by a Medical Board constituted by the College and must be declared fit for final admission.

MPH programme is of two years full time academic course. The students will follow the academic calendar prepared by the concerned department.

As per TU rules
There are limited numbers of scholarship seats available every year for this program for the deserving students (10% of the total approved seats for the academic year). The candidates, who study under scholarship scheme, are finalized during counseling sessions held by IOM.
