Academic Complex

The academic complex, which covers 20 bighas of land, is about 7.5 km South-West from the hospital complex. Presently, it includes the following facilities:

Basic Science Building:

It houses the department of Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Pathology, Microbiology, and Community Medicine. Each department has provision for the following:

Hostel

The institution has a modern hostel with specious rooms and facilities having own in-built canteen with a capacity of accommodating 240 students at a time. 24-hour supply of electricity in the hostel has significantly enabled our students to study and explore their academic endeavors despite of the routine power cuts. The hostel-residing students are benefited with multiple sport, internet, and recreational facilities to enjoy their spare times. At present four-story building to accommodate 240 students, both male and female, with the following features is available.

  • Fully furnished double-occupancy rooms
  • Each room opens to individual verandah
  • Cafeteria for students and staff members with dining room of 145.17 square meters where 50 students can eat at a time.
  • Common recreation room
  • Playground

Library

Library with enough text and reference books and journals which helps the students to broaden and upgrade their academic horizon. Library has got enough space which can accommodate 150 students at a time with the facilities of 24 hr free internet (wired and Wi-Fi), photocopy, binding, and book repairing. It generally opens from 8:00 AM to Mid-night.

Sip Oolong Tea

Research suggests that people with mild eczema who drink oolong tea three times a day may show improvement in itching and other symptoms. Compounds in the tea called polyphenols appear to be responsible.
