MPH course is designed to enable multidisciplinary health professionals to upgrade their competency, especially in achieving PHC goals. After completion of he course, graduates are expected to take up the role of leaders, essentially as generalists with preventive, promotive, curative, rehabilitative and management abilities.

Masters of Public Health (MPH) program offered by CMC is a Two year course, which proposes a professional public health specialist.
An individual with masters of public health degree will have opportunities for working in specific setting of health system (public, private, nonprofit), academic institutions, hospitals, industries, training and research institutions and for profit organizations as a public health expert, specialist or managers at national and international level.
There is high demand of public health professionals in formulation and implementation of public health act and related policies and activities at national and international arena.

Those who are interested in admission to the master of Public Health (MPH) programme should have fulfilled the following requirements:
Eligible candidates should appear for the entrance exam conducted by IOM, Exam section and the merit list will be published based on the marks secured in the entrance examination. The candidate selection and admission will then be done following the guidelines set by IOM.

International students should have an eligibility certificate from the concerned authority of their country, a valid student visa (if visa is required to stay in Nepal) and eligibility certificate issued by IoM or Ministry of Education of Nepal.
After fulfilling the aforementioned criteria, students have to visit CMC College along with the guardians and have to present the original copies of all the academic certificates. Thereafter, students have to fill up necessary documents and agreement papers as per the rules and requirements of CMC.
Successful candidates will have to undergo medical test by a Medical Board constituted by the College and must be declared fit for final admission.
MPH programme is of two years full time academic course. The students will follow the academic calendar prepared by the concerned department.
Students should be in the prescribed dress code of the institute in college/hospital premises. No student will be allowed to enter the college compound without proper uniform in college days. CMC believes appropriate dressing is important for creation of positive learning environment.
