The department of Otorhinolaryngology- Head & Neck  Surgery (ORL-HNS) provides comprehensive primary, secondary and tertiary care for the full spectrum of disorders of the Ear, Nose, Throat and Head Neck region. The department also promotes scientific research programs paving the way for future improvements in patient care. We are providing evidence -based medicine and surgical management by team of experienced and dedicated doctors. We are also committed to the community health.

Services 

OPD services.- Our department is providing OPD services six days per week to          70- 100 patients per day from 8AM-4PM. OPD service also includes video-naso-pharyngolaryngoscopy(NPL), and minor ENT OPD procedures.

ORL-HNS department has separate ward of 30 beds ( General & Cabin).

Emergency services

We provide emergency services for all ENT emergencies 

1) Epistaxis

2) Tracheostomies

3) Ear and nose foreign bodies

4) Aero-digestive tract foreign bodies

5) Maxillo-facial trauma, acute vertigo and 

6) All ENT related complications.

SURGERY:

The department has a separate fully equipped operation theatre providing following facilities:

1. All microscopic ear surgeries including ventilation tube insertion, myringoplasty, tympanoplasty, ossiculoplasty,  mastoid surgeries etc.

2. Tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, Sistrunk operation, excision of branchial cyst/sinus, Microlaryngeal surgeries (MLS)

3. Endoscopic Surgeries (FESS, Endoscopic DCR, Endoscope assisted Sphenopalatine artery ligation and Endoscope assisted ear surgeries)

3. Rhinoplasty and facial plastic surgery.

4. Reconstruction of Head-Neck region.

5. Management of Maxillo-Facial and Neck Trauma

6. Major Head-Neck cancer surgeries (laryngectomy, neck dissections, Maxillectomies, Thyroidectomies etc.)
